Shadow of the Colossus and ICO both have amazing animations and style, if not technical prowess... If you want something like Street Fighter and not like Soul Calibur... you won't have much variety, since Namco has one of the leading reigns in the industry. You can play Dead or Alive, but their characters seem to value silicon more than personality, and stoned faces beat storyline.

And Socom 3 is pretty nice, for the free(I think?) online play. GTA is not exclusive to the ps2, true, but it's still worth it's value and you'll probably play it for 20+ hours; it's that addicting if you haven't played any of the previous ones.

I personally like alot more playstation games than PS2 games..

Consoles get to a point where the companies only make games to put a product out there and make a profit..I just can't enjoy a game like that.

I'm liking devil may cry 3 at the moment. I dont think its as difficult as its cracked up to be.

You obviously haven't played it in the middle of the night and on the hardest setting. Between jumping out of my pants and sweat-tacular battles..you haven't seen the hard...

well...today I bought dragon quest 8 n played it for an hour or so...I dont really like it, like the anime for the monsters are gay...cats with long tounges, bats that are smiling, a mole, a pile of shit, n "slime"? wtf? is this for like 8 years old? or does it get become better later on... cause I might return this game for something else.

I'd say buy the old Suikoden for PS2. You can also try the second shadow hearts game. Shadow of the colossus is good and so is soul calibur 3.

You played too slow.. with guides for Half Life 2. i finished in 1 hours.

And with guides for FF X.. i finished in 5 hours.

I thought the focus of the dot hack series was on length, I got a tad bored of them. And the animated series is laughable.

Game for PS2 has to be Gran Turismo 4.

Absolutely right, ive beaten it four times already for the following reasons

1. Be completely towards the evil side and rob storekeepers and kill stuff
2. Be completely good so u can marry and RED ENGINE GORED GO every girl in town
3.Tell Shopkeepers to follow u, take them to a secluded area, give them 15 beers, tell them to wait while u run back in the shop and dee bo all their stuff on the counter
4. For the ending =]

too bad its not for ps2...=[

Lol, but since it was like in ancient greece or w.e , every girl character has no shirt on, and they walk around like its ok. I thought it was pretty funny, especially medusa lmfao

just ehh because u cant unlock abbys, the last guy.
and its funny how they give the other characters giant 15 foot weapons and scythes that take up the whole screen so u cant fight back if u get hit.
+ how every other character amazingly knocks me off the ring when im not even near it, with the weapons above.
w.e, im returning it in 2 days [back to blockbuster]
